We are a design and research agency collaborating with organizations to design meaningful services and products that bring happiness to people. In our work we are driven by the scientific study of happiness combined with the creative and strategic mindset of design thinking.
The approach we use is called Positive Design – design that creates means for increasing people’s happiness. We blend human understanding available in (positive) psychology with the creative and strategic mindset of design thinking. With this approach, we help our clients to gain full understanding of their customers and the contexts in which they interact, and to ultimately develop new experience strategies for their future.
As a result, our clients are able to create relevant businesses, build valuable customer relationships, and play a prominent role in society.
Why We Do It
We notice that organizations are under competitive pressure to become more human-centered and to drive innovation that have a positive impact on their customers. At the same time, we see that these organizations apply design thinking mainly by reacting to costumers’ day-to-day needs and problems.
This approach might lead to efficient ‘temporary fixes’ that result in short-term satisfaction of their customers. However, creating means to support customers’ well-being and quality of life on the long term requires an alternative approach. Positive Design offers the tools to achieve this goal.
